Upendra Limaye

Upendra Limaye is an Indian actor known for his work in Marathi cinema, Hindi films, theatre and television. Born on November 8, 1969, in Pune, Maharashtra, he developed an interest in acting early in life and went on to build a career spanning independent cinema and mainstream productions.
Limaye received widespread recognition for his powerful performance as Tayappa in the Marathi film Jogwa (2009), which earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor. He has also appeared in films such as Mukta, Chandni Bar, Page 3, Traffic Signal, Yellow and Mulshi Pattern. His Hindi film appearances include Antim: The Final Truth (2021) and Animal (2023), in which he played Freddy Patil.
