Kriti Sanon

Kriti Sanon is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi cinema. She was born on 27 July 1990 in New Delhi, India. Before entering the film industry, she studied Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, and briefly worked as a fashion model.

Kriti began her acting career in 2014 with the Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, opposite Mahesh Babu. The same year, she made her Hindi-film debut with Heropanti, opposite Tiger Shroff. Her performance earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, along with several other debut awards.

She gained wider recognition through films such as Dilwale (2015), Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), and Housefull 4 (2019). Her most significant acting milestone came with Mimi (2021), in which she played a young woman who becomes a surrogate mother. Her performance earned her the National Film Award for Best Actress and a Filmfare Award for Best Actress.

Kriti continued appearing in different genres, including Bhediya (2022), Adipurush (2023), Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024), and Crew (2024). In Do Patti (2024), she expanded her career by working as both an actress and producer through her production company Blue Butterfly Films.

Apart from acting, Kriti has also entered entrepreneurship, including ventures in fashion, fitness and skincare. Her career has developed from modelling and acting into film production and business.
